Oakland Fence Concept

The Oakland Fence Project is an outdoor photography installation and online exhibit designed to connect artists and communities in a whole new way.

Imagine a 1000-foot chainlink fence at Jack London Square (and in neighborhoods all around the city) lined with dramatic 6-foot tall pictures taken by Oakland photographers, augmented with video by Oakland filmmakers, powered by technology coded by Oakland developers. Let’s ignite some urban renewal, Oakland-style.
